AccuLynx, a provider of business management software for roofing contractors, introduced a mobile application, Crew App, designed to help roofers manage labor crews, according to a news release. The Crew App can simplify the way roofing companies coordinate and manage work performed by subcontractors and in-house crews, according to AccuLynx. The app is designed to streamline the production planning process and improve collaboration by connecting field crews with details and instructions for jobs while giving them a means to communicate updates from the field.
“The mobile Crew App builds upon our existing suite of tools that enable roofing contractors to run productive operations that are positioned for continuous growth," AccuLynx CEO Mike Stein said in a public statement. "This simple, yet practical solution will ultimately improve productivity and increase customer satisfaction for roofing companies.”
The Crew App provides the ability to automatically notify crews of labor assignments, including project details and photos, via the app. Crews can view scheduled jobs, get directions to a job site, check in and out at the site, share photos, and complete labor checklists directly from the app. The app facilitates real-time communication, which results in productivity and efficiency gains, according to AccuLynx.
“Our goal was to make it easier for customers to exchange information with their labor teams,” Mark Rattin, vice president of product and design at AccuLynx, said in the news release. "The mobile Crew App allows roofing companies to collect valuable work and performance data from the field without having to drive out to the job site to see how work is progressing.”
