The Conserver model lets users use either 1 or 1.6 gallons per flush, achieving an average water savings of 20% over traditional toilets. Velux. Taking advantage of its experience in daylighting, the company introduces another roof-based asset in its solar water heating system. The system includes low-profile rooftop solar collectors that use the same flashing system as the maker’s roof windows. The collectors can be mounted on shingle or tile roofs and two to three panels will usually be needed for an installation. Water holding tanks are available in 80- and 120-gallon sizes.
