The majority of work James Benoit does is high end, but when it comes to cabinetry he often makes a surprising choice: KraftMaid. He sees it as a great option because “it's a well-built product at a really good price point. It gives a high-end kitchen in a high-end neighborhood a lot of punch.” Spending a little less on cabinets means clients can splurge on other things. “The money they save allows them to get a Viking range or Sub-Zero fridge or a granite countertop,” explains Benoit. He never has a problem incorporating KraftMaid's products into the luxury kitchens and bathrooms his company designs. “They offer a lot of cool accessories. You can make your kitchen unique with the different drawer configurations, corner cabinets, moldings, and feet. If you have a clever installation crew, you can do some semi-custom stuff with it.” Benoit is also impressed with the six-week turnaround time and the overall value and quality of the cabinets. “It's one of the true good values out there,” he says.
