The National Kitchen & Bath Association’s recent Kitchen & Bath Market Index, which forecasts K&B dealer confidence, shows encouraging findings:

  • Increases in kitchen (55%) and bathroom (44%) sales
  • High showroom traffic
  • A rise in kitchen and bath remodeling prices

“Consumers [took] on conservative kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects during the past year,” NKBA president David Alderman says. “While I don’t anticipate that trend will change significantly in the near future, the reality that consumers aren’t leaving their current homes anytime soon should drive slightly larger, more complex K&B remodeling projects.” —Stacey Freed, senior editor, REMODELING.
