Quick Door Hanger
Set aside the shims on your next door installation project. Quick Door Hanger brackets feature alignment tabs and reference notches that allow installers to easily line up doors along level and plumb lines without nail holes or shims. The brackets also feature malleable tabs in case the door needs to be adjusted front to back in the rough opening. The creator of this clever work belt, Chris Landano, serves as a New York City firefighter and forensic photographer. When his photography belt got him caught in a tight, dangerous spot in the midst of a building collapse, a light bulb went on. He developed a belt that rotates, allowing the wearer to narrow the bulky profile of a work belt by rotating tools and pouches out of the way. For Landano, this lets him slip in and out of tight spaces without his photography gear hanging him up.
