Over the past four years, DeWalt has awarded $650,000 in scholarships to 80 students who have enrolled full-time in a vocational technical school or accredited two-year college programs. The company is continuing that initiative with the announcement that it is now accepting applications for its fifth annual DeWalt Trades Scholarship. This year, the program will award $200,000 in scholarships to 40 students across the U.S. and Canada who are pursuing a trade degree or certificate in a variety of fields, including construction technology, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, automotive, and aviation, among others.
