The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) today announced agreement to partner with the Living In Place Institute (LIPI), a provider of information and education on home accessibility and safety. With the partnership, the NKBA will endorse LIPI's Certified Living in Place Professional (CLIPP) education training to design professionals working in the kitchen and bath space, according to a news release.

"We are incredibly excited to have entered this important partnership with the Living in Place Institute," NKBA Executive Vice President of Industry Relations and Chief Strategy Officer Suzie Williford said in the release. "The NKBA is committed to providing the design profession with state-of-the-art training and education, resulting in beautifully designed homes that are functional, accessible, comfortable, and safe for everyone."

LIPI's CLIPP training helping remodelers, designers, and contractors take responsibility for making all homes more accessible, comfortable, and safer for everyone. The two most common rooms in which accidents occur are the kitchen and the bathroom, according the news release.
