MI Windows and Doors entered an agreement to purchase Milgard Windows & Doors from parent company Masco Corporation. The manufacturer expects the deal to close by the end of the calendar year.
MI has a strong presence throughout the eastern and southern United States and Milgard has a strong customer base in the western region of the country.
“This acquisition aligns with our strategies to diversify our product offering, balance the end markets we serve, and expand our presence in growing markets,” MI CEO Matt DeSoto said in a news release. “Milgard’s dedication to manufacturing high-quality, market-preferred windows and doors makes it a natural fit for MI, as both companies share a family-first culture where team member and customer satisfaction are top priorities. We are pleased to welcome the Milgard team to the MI family, and we are confident they will help us achieve our vision to be the most valuable brand in the fenestration industry.”
Milgard president Vishal Singh said the deal will help the company enhance its growth while continuing to deliver the same quality and experience for its dealer network.
