Lowe's and HomeAdvisor entered a partnership to offer Lowe's for Pros Loyalty Program members a free, year-long HomeAdvisor subscription. Qualifying Lowe's Pro loyalty members will get an annual subscription to the digital platform connecting homeowners to service professionals and also will receive a credit for an average of 10 free leads connecting them to HomeAdvisor's extensive network of millions of homeowners.

Additionally, through the partnership, qualifying Lowe's pros will receive access to business growth experts and resources, including one-on-one mentorship sessions with leading professionals. Members can participate in webinars on topics such as instruction on digitally marketing their business, customer service tips, and ways to grow and expand their business.

“There has been a fundamental shift in the value and importance we place on our homes, and homeowners have a renewed interest in hiring Pros for help with home projects,” Craig Smith, president and CEO for HomeAdvisor, said in a news release. “We are excited to partner with Lowe’s, who shares our passion for the home and supporting pros across the country, to offer access to new clients.”

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has impacted the way pros find jobs. The most common lead-gen tactic for home improvement professionals, word-of-mouth, has been hindered by social distancing requirements and digital lead-generation has taken on an increased importance. Despite the negative economic impacts of the pandemic, 92% of homeowners who typically hire pros indicated they plan to hire a pro this year, according to a survey commissioned by ANGI Homeservices in May.

“A consistent flow of quality leads remain very important for our Pro customers and we are here to make their lives a little easier,” Fred Stokes, Lowe’s senior vice president of pro sales and services, said. “As a member of Lowe’s Pro loyalty program, we are providing personalized offers, business management tools and now a free one-year subscription to HomeAdvisor. It’s another way to show how committed we are to helping keep Pros working during the pandemic and beyond.”

The HomeAdvisor offer is available to new and existing Lowe's Pro loyalty members who do not already have a HomeAdvisor account and who subscribe based on HomeAdvisor's approval and terms through September 9.

The HomeAdvisor partnership supports previous initiatives from home-improvement retailer Lowe's to support small businesses and keep pros working. During the pandemic, Lowe's has allocated more than $50 million to small businesses and launched Lowe's for Pros JobSIGHT, an augmented video chat service that combines video, computer vision, and augmented reality capabilities to allow pros to conduct virtual visits with customers.
