If there’s a bootcamp for residential remodeling, it might just be the commercial world. That exacting sector of architects, specifications, codes, and inspections is where Legacy Service USA cut its teeth for about five years before adding residential work to its repertoire—and it continues to set the company apart.

“Commercial is strict,” says Dmytro Muzychko, the company’s marketing director and residential division manager. “Most contractors are just one and done. But we’re not like that. We stand behind our work.”

Legacy backs up that commitment with a 10-year workmanship warranty along with warranties from top manufacturers such as GAF and Owens Corning. “The key to our relationship with customers is to deliver results and stand behind our work,” Muzychko says.

A set of robust technology systems including Improveit 360 tracks every stage of the process from the first lead call to the finished job and has helped the company grow 30% since 2018. Looking forward, Legacy plans to boost its canvassing lead-gen program—currently responsible for up to 20% of leads—with Spotio field sales software.

On the traditional end of lead generation, the company employs a generous referral program that gives customers a $200 gift card for each reference. Regular promotions and email newsletters also keep Legacy top of mind with past customers.

But Muzychko says the biggest sales driver is the company’s commitment to take care of its customers. “Nobody’s perfect and things happen,” he says. “We pick the best products on the market and we deliver them to our customers. It’s not all about making money. Our customers are part of our family.”
