Elias Construction has found success expanding into one area that is consistently on homeowners’ minds, whether they’re remodeling or not: cleaning.
In April 2017, the company launched Completely Clean. This home-cleaning service employs three full-time technicians who provide clean up after Elias Construction projects. In addition, Completely Clean has its own list of clients who enlist the technicians to clean their own homes. The service will even provide services to commercial buildings.
“It seemed like a natural fit with our remodeling and was created to add another stream of revenue to the business, which has worked out nicely so far,” owner Mickey Elias says. “We have a great conversion rate of remodeling clients who then turn into regular cleaning accounts.”
Completely Clean has performed 12 post-remodel cleans. Nine of the service’s clients are past Elias Construction clients.
The company is refining its processes to improve operations as Elias seeks to expand business offerings. Mickey Elias has a business coach, reads regularly to search for new ideas, and listens to his team for their ideas and perspectives.
“I honestly believe we already have a great foundation in place from the remodeling side that can be modified as needed for the new divisions of the company,” he says. Next on his list are new homes and additions.
