Lifestyles’ clients like their established neighborhood and school district. They live in 20-to-30-year-old homes, says owner Scott Balentine, and are “willing to invest in the changes to make their houses fit their lifestyle rather than look for a new house and relocate.”
• Balentine subcontracts whole-house projects, but project manager Buzz Koeplinger oversees small to medium jobs that require in-house framing and trim carpentry.
• Lifestyles connects clients who need help with selections with an interior designer. Balentine has worked with some designers for so long that they work as a team from concept through construction to create a cohesive project.
• The company’s website accounted for almost half of Lifestyles' leads in 2012, so Balentine is refocusing his marketing plan to update the site to include a new photo gallery layout and optimizing the site for mobile phones.
