Softwood Lumber prices increased on a month-over-month basis for the first time since July of 2023, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Softwood lumber prices fell by nearly 6% in November and are down almost 20% on a year-over-year basis.
The new policy will in part help first-time buyers, seniors, and intergenerational families to leverage ADUs to attain homeownership.
