According to REMODELING’s annual Cost vs. Value Report, bathroom remodels continue to be among the most valuable home upgrades, typically recouping between 80% and 100% of their investment. To help homeowners more affordably tackle these valuable projects -- and enjoy them even if they’re not planning to sell -- Danze has launched a nationwide manufacturer-direct rebate program that will allow consumers to save up to $500 per bathroom.

The generous rebate offers include:

  • $125 for bath vanities
  • $50 for toilets, including high-efficiency models
  • $25 for sinks, pedestal columns, and mirrors
  • $25 for bathroom faucets with the purchase of a fixture product

“Many homeowners have held off on their remodeling projects due to tough economic times,” says Danze President and CEO Michael E. Werner. “We’re hoping these rebates will encourage people to make that investment into their homes and create that perfect bathroom they’ve been longing for.”
Plumbing products manufacturer Brizo has a similar program going on. The purchase of the maker's Vesi or Tresa bath faucet qualifies homeowners for a rebate of up to $500 on additional purchases from the two collections. After the initial qualifying purchase, consumers can receive a $50 rebate on each additional lavatory, bidet, or shower faucet, and a $100 rebate on each Roman tub faucet or Sensori high-flow custom shower system purchase, up to a maximum of $500.

Brizo's rebate program runs through the end of the year, while Danze's National Homeowner Rebate Program is scheduled to end Nov. 15, 2009. The finales of these rebate programs approximately coincide with the kick-off of a government-funded consumer rebate program for Energy Star appliances. In combination with energy-efficiency tax credits, Werner’s anticipation of boosted interest in remodeling could extend well beyond the bathroom. --Lauren Hunter, associate editor, REMODELING.
