Instead of carpet in the family room, tile in the kitchen, and hardwood in the den, many homeowners (especially those whose homes have open floor plans) are opting for expansive areas of a single flooring material. As such, choosing a floor that will pull together a large space without being overwhelming is key. Low maintenance is important, too. Try these options to get just the right look.

To ensure a pleasing sound and feel underfoot, Country collection planks measure 3/8-inch thick. Both new offerings are available in 6-inch planks.

The warm-colored flooring ranges in hues from golden brown to dark brown.
