Signs with Stories

Designer, Krikor Halajian, at Kitchens & More was working with local artist, Shawn Lovell, to create a unique metal table base for a kitchen remodel. He admired her work so much that he asked her to create a sign for the job site. The sign is metal with a brown patina that’s finished with oil and wax. Kitchens & More’s sign is memorable because it’s an original work of art. It gives potential clients a preview into the quality of work the company does.

The sawblade with a Celtic design is based on The Cleary Company owner, George Cleary’s, Irish heritage and love of Celtic art. One of their interior designers came up with the idea of having the sawblade logo cutting into the sign. The blade is made from stainless steel, giving it a unique look that gets the company noticed. They also use the logo on trucks, t-shirts, and company communications.

VPC Builders repurposes old wine barrels to make their one-of-a-kind lawn signs. Project Manager, Gary Smith, created the design for the sandblasted sign, which is then attached to a wine barrel. The company has eight signs and each one has a different look. Their creativity has paid off because the signs alone generate project leads.
