After paying a contractor $3,500, a Denver homeowner is left with nothing more than a pile of rubble.

June Lucero inherited her childhood home from her deceased parents and was told by the city to take down a carport and some structures that were deemed unsafe and built without permits. Lucero hired Adrian Delgado of Colorado Quality Construction to help solve the problem. When work started in May, things were going well, however by July Delgado stopped responding to phone calls, voicemails, text messages, and more. What Delgado left behind was a pile of debris from demolition work leaving Lucero’s home a total mess.

Delgado was contacted by Fox31’s Problem Solvers and said that Lucero only paid him $750 for just the demolition work which the state has said is false. Now, the the Denver Urban Renewal Authority will complete the work on Lucero’s home. She has now warned others about Delgado’s shady work.
