In March, the Occupational Health and Safety Administration released an anticipated new silica dust exposure standard for the construction industry. The 606-page rule can be difficult for remodelers and home builders alike to navigate.

On Thursday, May 19 at 2 p.m. EST OSHA will be hosting a free webinar entitled: Understanding & Implementing the New Construction Silica Standard. The one-hour webinar will be conducted by OSHA’s David O’Connor and will review the key provisions of the standard. The webinar will include a free planning tool to help contractors comply with the new rule.

You can visit the Center for Construction Research and Training’s website to register for this session.
