Houzz contributor Natasha Saroca recently caught up with three designers to discuss emerging kitchen trends and decorating ideas for 2015. From furniture-style cabinetry and metallic surfaces to eye-catching ceilings and wallpaper options, the experts revealed the "It List" of elements they expect consumers will request in the coming year.
Among them: the color black. That's right. According to Interior Designer Greg Natale, black is back.
“We spend so much time in our kitchens, and I think that more and more people want to make them a really special space. Black makes a strong, sleek statement,” he says.
Also anticipated next year is a greater move toward textured surfaces. Of course, wood will remain a top finish but other tactile materials will emerge as favorites.
