Fast Company's John Brownlee takes a look at a new German hammer that's designed to make one-handed hammering without a nailgun possible.

Created for roofers who hammer nails overhead, the Latthammer features a square-shaped head for added precision as well as a cross-shaped groove and magnet that work to guide a nail into wood without the need to bring in a second hand or thumb to secure its position. 

The Latthammer is designed by Picard, a 160-year-old German hammer company. Sadly, Latthammers don't seem to be available at an affordable price in the United States: on Amazon, they cost $165 apiece.
