Maria Boisseau was expecting that when she hired contractors Mark St. Angelo and Mel Taylor that she was going to have the brand new home addition ready for her mother who has Alzheimers. After $51,000, the only addition that Boisseau’s Rhode Island home has is a giant hole in her backyard and a demolished bathroom wall. This has forced Boisseau to shower and use the restroom in an R.V. while her mother temporarily stays in a nursing home.

The project was supposed to begin mid-June and end in July. It’s now August and no construction has been left behind, except a mess. When pressing for answers, all that Boisseau received from Taylor were excuses, unanswered phone calls, along with explicit photos.

If Boisseau files a complaint with the Rhode Island Contractor’s Board, the pair of contractors could face hefty fines.
