A man in Adrain, N.D., is wondering what ever happened to a contractor he hired to remodel his bathroom. Reid Jawaski called Valley News Live's Whistler Hotline after the contractor from the company Bath Planet started work, installed the wrong product, and then continued to ask for money back from Jawaski.

Initially, Jawaski was given a list price of $7,900 and was told to pay a down payment of $1,580 for a project that was expected to take just three to five weeks. Yet, several weeks after the project was expected to be finished, Jawaski was still waiting around. It wasn’t until June 13 that his tub was installed… backwards. As Jawaski told Valley News Live,

"Went got the new tub set it up and it was facing the wrong direction, he said what do you mean?" explained Jawaski. "I said it's the wrong tub it was supposed to go north and south not east and west, so the tub had the wrong splash paneling."

A mirror in Jawaski’s bathroom was also broken and that after the incident, he wanted to scrap the project due to lack of professionalism, workmanship, and damage. After Valley News Live was contacted by Jawaski, Bath Planet sat down with the team. Bath Planet, off-camera, told Valley News Live that they’d be willing to refund Jawaski the money and also money for the broken mirror.
