Imagine getting ready in the morning and your bathroom mirror prompts you with the weather, your favorite music station, and the most popular headlines of the day. That's what engineer Ryan Nelwan of San Francisco-based Swipe Labs had in mind when he dreamed up a smart touch screen mirror.

Last week, Nelwan posted a video to YouTube showing off the new technology and software he built. In the video, he demonstrates each app he's built out so far and how each app can be controlled by different hand motions.

In the top left corner, the weather is displayed, and in the top right, the date and time. The mirror also plays music, can control the temperature in your home, and alert you when you're running late. And if you're running way late, just order an uber straight from the mirror!

Nelwan is hoping to bring this unique product to market, but hasn't specified a date.
