In a revised report, the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention has said that Lumber Liquidators’ laminate flooring has been found to have three times greater risk of causing cancer than what was reported last year. An earlier CDC report prompted a story by “60 Minutes” alleging that Lumber Liquidators flooring had potentially high levels of formaldehyde and that an estimated risk of tumors was found in six to 30 cases per 100,000 people. Since the revised report was released, Lumber Liquidators' holdings have fallen the most since the six months since the initial report was released.
