In Orlando, Fl., this week The New American Remodeled Home 2017 will be able to get to make a third impression at the International Builders’ Show. Built in 1987, the home was victim to a fire in the 90s. The fire resulted in immense damage requiring much the home to be rebuilt. Thanks to Phil Kean, the home was completely gutted and essentially reconstructed. Rebuilding the infrastructure of the home was key, along with making it energy efficient.

All appliances will be Energy Star-certified, high-efficiency LED lighting will be used, a tankless water heater and double pane windows will all be elements to making the home energy saving. The total energy cost will drop from an annual average of $3,700 to less than $1,800.
