Fire sprinkler installation companies are on the wrong side of one of the biggest construction defect cases in history after allegedly installing defective sprinkler system pipes that combine CVPC and metal pipes. The suit is being brought on behalf of the Wind and the Latitude on the River condominium associations in Miami.
According to Alex Barthet, CVPC pipes have been used as an alternative to steel pipes but steel pipe manufacturers advise against this:
