The U.S. Department of Justice announced last week the arrest of 33-year-old Brett Johnson for home improvement fraud. Throughout 2015, Johnson took money for home improvement projects and then he never returned to complete the work.

Johnson pleaded guilty to six counts and will be receiving a suspended prison sentence in return. He has been ordered to pay $11,554.75 in restitution to nine senior citizen homeowners, sentenced to two years in prison, followed by probation.
