Home remodeling spending, according to a new analysis from Harvard researchers, is expected to grow 4.3% in the first quarter. As REMODELING Magazine reported this week, by the third quarter spending on home remodeling is expected to increase 7.6%. Managing director of the Join Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University, Chris Herbert, notes:

2016 is looking to be a stronger year for home renovation activity compared to 2015, thanks to the continued recovery in the owner-occupied housing market.
