Lifecycle Building Challenge
Sponsored by: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Building Materials Reuse Association, American Institute of Architects, Southface Energy Institute, and West Coast Green.
A competition to develop strategies supporting building deconstruction and material reuse. Submit ideas in 2 categories: buildings or innovations (components, policies, educational tools, or ideas) that will reduce waste and advance building material reuse
The competition is open to architects, builders, and students. The EPA’s partners will also recognize exceptional entries in other categories. West Coast Green will recognize the Best Residential Entry, and Building Materials Reuse Association will select the Best Greenhouse Gas Reduction Design.
