I was struck by one fact regarding the routing of the delivery trucks. Left turns were determined to waste both time and fuel. So they are to be avoided and the company’s routing software does that.
That made me think about what a remodeling company might do that could, over time, save a lot of time and money. What is it that you do, automatically, that creates waste? What little shifts could you and your people choose to make standard company procedure so that the company and those who work there could be more successful?
How to find out? Ask your people. I bet you would be surprised by what you learn.
