Porch.com's listing of featured pros, available as part of its Porch Premium service

Porch.com announced today the creation of a new service in which pros can better assure that they'll get noticed in search results involving the pros' desired target neighborhoods.

The Porch Premium service will help contractors "accelerate their business through smart leads, client analytics, and profile amplification," the Seattle-based website announced in a news release. It will cost at least $50 per month.

The Porch Premium package will include "guaranteed ZIP code ownership," by which the company means pros will be able to get one of four "premium slots" in the results visitors see when they search for service providers in particular ZIP codes. Pros using the service also can have their scrapbooked project photos show up on "trending project" listings in target ZIP codes, as well as have customers contact them directly "from the profile and project pages of your competitors in your ZIP codes."

Porch Premium's offerings of guaranteed placement on search results is similar to that offered by other websites. For instance, Houzz Pro+ sells spaces on the first page of its search results.
Porch claims to have more than 1.5 million pros and 90 million projects in its network. Most are drawn from a variety of databases and online sources.
