A sales and marketing section has an interactive forum where contractors can discuss topical issues. It also features articles; those recently posted tackle how to overcome price objections, make Web sites work, and motivate sales staff.

Burton Jablin, HGTV's acting president, says was a long-time goal of the network's founder, Ken Lowe. As of mid-May, more than 135,000 professionals had registered to receive HGTVProFile.
