The duo behind the hit HGTV show “Fixer Upper,” Joanna and Chip Gaines, are ready to take their style and entrepreneurial experience further. On July 20, Meredith Corp. announced the launch of a quarterly lifestyle magazine in partnership with the Gaineses. Hitting stands in October with an initial run of 400,000 copies, the magazine will focus on home decorating, gardening, food, and outdoor living.

The Gainses’ TV show claims to reach more than 100 million women and nearly three-quarters of female millennials in the U.S. each month. The show’s season three finale, was HGTV’s fifth-highest-rated telecast of all time and rates the highest for primetime viewers between the ages of 25 to 54.

In a press release, the Tom Harty president of Meredith National Media Group said, "We are thrilled to be teaming up with Joanna and Chip on a new lifestyle magazine. They have a broad appeal to women across generations, including millennials and baby boomers alike. We believe advertisers will jump at the opportunity to reach such a strong and passionate consumer.”
