Though Bruce Pinsler’s passion for marketing was always in evidence, he increased his spending and efforts to help keep his business going during the recession.

He worked with his in-house marketing and art departments to design ads, literature, job signs, and door hangers, and to develop TV commercials. Galaxie  is also affiliated with several area sports teams and sets up booths on game days.

The company has succeeded in its efforts to increase brand recognition, generating more inquiries for its nine-person call center and making appointments with about 90% of the callers. A sales coordinator assigns one of the 16 salespeople to meet with the client. The sales staff is versed in the company’s financing options, a service that Pinsler considers integral to Galaxie’s process.

Broad Brand  Galaxie Construction hopes to parlay its marketshare into a 20% per year volume growth.
