CMG  is known for its boutique commercial projects and for applying the same high-end attention to its residential work. The company’s commercial jobs are mostly for clients in design-based businesses such as architecture, graphic design, and marketing. “We have a synergy when we meet with that type of client,” principal Ken Sugarman says.

The company works with architects on most projects. Its residential work includes condominiums and houses in established neighborhoods in the city. The company also has an office in Rehoboth Beach, Del., to serve its new-home clients.

The theme for the commercial, remodeling, and new-home markets, Sugarman says, is that “[the company] works with fairly high-powered people who expect results quickly and expect [the job] to be done right the first time.”

In-House  CMG aims to reach $8 million in volume by 2015.
