Full-service is taken seriously at John C. Fiderio & Sons, which offers exterior expertise in sunrooms, roofing, siding, windows, gutters, decks, and door replacements as well as design/build remodeling services.
And each area is carefully marketed and promoted, which is one reason why the company's leads and sales were up this past year, despite the lagging economy.
One recent innovation has been upgrading the company's phone and computer infrastructure to a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system and adding a T1 server to the phone system, giving the company 28 phone number options. This has helped with telemarketing to previous clients as well as tracking marketing efforts.
Fiderio has also embraced other technology for marketing, revamping the company's Web site every two years and using MarketSharp software to track leads.
