Husband and wife team Lynn (wearing tie) and Sandy (seated, left) Monson are known in the Twin Cities as highly original producers of cutting-edge designs for kitchens and baths.
After considerable research, they took on DreamMaker, the Texas-based kitchen and bath remodeling franchise targeted to the middle market. Running DreamMaker as a wholly separate operation, they boosted sales from $345,000 to $1.2 million in four years. The DreamMaker franchise, Lynn Monson says, “offered us the best opportunity to take the Monson Interior design process and make it a mid-market price point.”
DreamMaker has its own general manager, A.J. Paron-Wildes (left), who is also a part owner of the franchise. “We have plans to grow very large,” Monson says about the DreamMaker franchise. As for Monson Interiors, “we are going to keep sailing like we are.”
