    Current project: Full gut master bath remodel. So far, we’ve only installed the 24x24 travertine on the floor. I chose “linen” for the grout. Should I have gone darker/more gray with khaki or lighter with butter cream?  Any advice on contemporary shower fitting/single-handle faucet? Accent tile for the shower niche?

    It was a good thing I decided to replace the floor tile--it reveals the toilet flange leak. Back to Home Depot...

    Instead of just gutting the shower, I decided to remove the old tile floor and use the same tile on the floor. Luckily, it was attached to a piece of luan and came off in one piece.

    Since the new tile is so large, we poured a leveler to create an even surface. It hardened to almost an inch deep on the toilet side of the room.
