    As part of a larger addition, the owners wanted to create a kid-friendly bathroom on a limited budget. Pottery Barn cabinets are framed to appear built in. On the walls, 1x2 batts over an MDF sheetgood create a batt and board effect. Calming hues of blue, green, and charcoal complement the existing home's early 1900's charm.

Challenge: To economically design a bathroom for two young boys that would meet their needs over time and maintain the home’s early-1900s farmhouse style. Judges appreciated: The “charming space” and the “creative use of MDF and other materials to keep the cost down.”
